Glenville is located in Gilmer County, W.v., where it also happens to be the county seat. According to to 2000 U.S. Census, there are 1,544 residents. his county also happens to be home to lenville State College. Gilmer County High School and one of three elementary schools are located in the city of Glenville. There are a variety of things to do. Glenville has one park currently, and is in the process of adding another. There are two basketball courts, and two public pools. Also, the city of Glenville offers an array of excellent restaurants. Overall, Glenville is a wonderful place to raise a family, have a nice outing, or just have a good time.
